Athletic Brew Beer Shrimp

INGREDIENTS

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat a large cast iron pan over medium heat. Add the butter to the pan to melt, as it begins to brown add the chopped onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until the onions are translucent. Add the garlic and cook an additional minute.
  2. To the onion and garlic mixture, add the old bay, red pepper flakes and salt. Stir to combine. Add the shrimp to the pan and toss everything to coat.
  3. Pour the beer and water over the shrimp. Cook, stirring and tossing for 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are bright pink and cooked through. Turn the heat off. Allow the shrimp to rest in the broth for 10 minutes to soak up the flavor.
  4. When ready to serve, toast or grill your bread for dipping.
  5. Enjoy!
